man scheint im cip-pool tatsächlich komplett der willkür der admins ausgeliefert zu sein. meine cronjobs sind weg. :-/

wie dem auch sei, es gibt alternativen, z.b. cronjob.de. mal sehen ob man sich darauf verlassen kann.

thanks to a tiny wordpress plugin called ‘postie’ and my user account at the FAU, i now have a cron job that checks my mail every 20 minutes for new posts and publishes them. i could also send my posts from my smartphone and even attach pictures i made with it.
amazing!

in fact, this post also was sent via mail. seems to work.
however, i still can’t imagine what could be so important that i need to post it right away from my mobile, but you never know… *g*
nice feature to have, anyway.
